If you have an Android device, you may be familiar with Clean Master, a program that allows you to clean your system of temporary files, cache, unnecessary processes in memory. Let me tell you right away that I liked this free PC cleaner: in my opinion, it is a good alternative for CCleaner for novice users – all actions in Clean Master are intuitive and clear (CCleaner is not complicated and has wider possibilities too, but some functions require the user to know what they’re doing).
Using Clean Master for PC to clean your system
The installation is a one-click installation and no additional unwanted programs are installed.
Immediately after installation, Clean Master performs a system scan and offers a report in a convenient graphical form, displaying the occupied space that can be freed. In the program you can clean:
- Browser cache – with each browser you can clean separately.
- System cache – temporary Windows and system files, log files, etc.
- Clean garbage in the registry (you can also restore the registry.
- Clean temporary files or tails of third-party programs and games on your computer.
When you select any item in the list, you can see the details of what it is suggested to remove from the disk by clicking “Details”. You can also clean the files related to the selected item manually (Clean Up) or ignore them when they are automatically cleaned (Ignore).
To start the automatic cleanup of all the “junk” found on your computer, click the “Clean Now” button in the upper right corner and wait for a moment. When the procedure is finished, you will see a detailed report on how much space and from what files has been freed up on your disk as well as a reassuring message that your computer is now fast.
I should note that after installing the program, it adds itself to the autostart, scans the computer after each power on and shows reminders if the trash exceeds 300 megabytes. In addition, it adds itself to the context menu of the Recycle Bin to quickly start cleaning. If you don’t need any of the above, everything is disabled in the settings (arrow in the top corner – Settings).
I liked the program: although I do not use such tools for cleaning, I can recommend it to novice computer users, because it does not make extraneous actions, works “smoothly”, and as far as I can judge, the probability that something can be spoiled with it is minimal.
